Samsung Hotel Geoje

Stayed here one night on a Tuesday in July. Paid approximately 160,000 원 per night. Made a reservation with a harbor view paying fir the extra. When checking in, they offered a room in the new building. They said our reservation was for the old building. The room’s view was not good so I was confused if my original reservation could have been better. But after reviewing pictures and reading reviews, the new building offers better atmosphere and furniture. They boasted the fitness center but it was completely closed for the next day. Don’t expect early checkin or express checkout through a phone. I asked if I can check in at 11am as I was in the area already and they said they charge 50of the price for it.

It's a Business focused hotel, built with the main purpose of hosting Samsung Yards Guests, and events!

Nice Hotel with swim pool and spa. Stayed 3 nights. Room furnitures are old and doesn’t fit with the room as rooms are small. The most disappointed part is that the hotel employees especially the front desk are not friendly and definitely need to be trained both the Managers and employees as they seem to forget that customers are important. Buffet lunches and dinners are super expensive especially the dinner prices as the place is almost empty…. Pity

Good breakfast. Cute photo ops. Kicking myself for not trying the sauna/jjimjilbang since it's free there and not at Seoul hotels I stayed at. Obviously a business hotel given the proximity to Samsung port, but better than other business port hotels!

Best place to stay if you are working at Samsung Shipyard. Its easy to get to. Its walking distance from the shipyard main gate and also few restaurants. The hotel lobby is huge and gives a very good feeling when one enters the hotel. I was put up in the old building so I dont know what the new building and rooms looks like. But the rooms where i stayed were good and spacious. They had a small couch and a working desk which is very important for me. The beds were comfortable. The rooms seemed quiet with not much outside noise coming jn. There is also an iron that one can ask for. The mini bar is free apparently which is think is a first for me. The breakfast is pretty basic with little variety but then no complains as we are in Geoje. The hotel has currency exchange facility with decent rates. All in all, a very good hotel to stay if u r in Geoje.

The bigger rooms in building 2 are newer, but the standard room I got another time in B1 was fine too, good maintenance and clean. In walking distance are few restaurants. To my surprise, drinks in minibar are free, even there is a price list on the fridge. Reception staff told us at check-in.

COST: CLEAN: SERVICE: Good service. It was a first family trip for my 120days baby. I requested a baby bed and baby shower tub when I reserved, they already prepared before I checked-in!! We can do swimming, sauna as well for free. This hotel is far from tour area but it doesn't matter.

One of the best hotel in geoje. Has great atmosphere and scenery. Location is surrounded by greenery, also it is situated high the scenery is beautiful. The suits are well ventilated, hygienic. Housekeeping service was great. Food and beverage are served best. Some of staff finds difficult to speak English but they are humble and co-operative. The bar is attractive and classy. Quite expensive but worth it.
